AQAFI is a non-profit association based in Luxembourg. It promotes quality in host family accommodation and supports a more structured approach to the reception and integration of international pupils and young people in Luxembourg.
AQAFI works on standards and certification for host families, with the aim of encouraging quality, responsibility and clearer practice.
It may work with authorised operating partners for practical implementation within the AQAFI framework.
AQAFI is not a public authority and does not replace school decisions, immigration procedures or legal advice.
AQAFI develops standards for host families receiving under-18 international pupils and young people in Luxembourg, and organises a structured certification process.
AQAFI follows a certification-first approach: certified host families should be given priority when students are placed, and annual review is part of the framework.
AQAFI welcomes applications from host families who wish to contribute to a structured and quality-based framework for receiving international pupils and young people in Luxembourg.
Suitable host families offer a stable home environment, appropriate living conditions, a responsible attitude towards minors, and openness to documentation and regular review.
After certification, host families maintain regular communication, cooperate with follow-up, and take part in annual review.
